New extension to rear of building / internal & external refurbishment.

To undertake such a drastic change to the internal layout of the existing units, major structural changes were required.

The existing rear elevation was temporarily supported using dead shores before the majority of the ground floor walls were removed. A large steel frame was then installed to the rear of the building increasing the floor area of the units. This frame was clad in concrete covered steel decking made watertight with asphalt and a brickwork façade.

The internal areas were then refurbished and left ready for fit out by the client’s incoming tenants.
